Biographical Trivia: I was born and raised in northern California and now reside in Minnesota. Why? I quit drinking at age 26 and this is where a lot of us end up.

For a few years I experimented with putting music on YouTube, held myself to an impossible standard, deleted it all and am just now coming back to it.

I’ve wanted to create comics since way before I even stopped drinking but always assumed it was beyond my capacity. Tried learning to draw through books, YouTube, online courses, found the whole process extremely boring. Then started exploring digital tools and realized that maybe this is not completely impossible after all. I love the graphic novel medium because it is more immersive than most prose works and less passive than just watching a film or TV show.

That being said, I also love extremely artsy prose works that no one in their right mind actually enjoys, like the novels of Samuel Beckett or Finnegan’s Wake. I have something similar on the way.

Musically, it’s the same story. An amalgam of progressive rock, avant-garde jazz and modern classical. Nothing catchy allowed.
